Our service today does not cut or shape your nails. The robot will only paint your nails. However, we have nail files and polish remover on hand for you if you’d like to use these before your service.

Our robot works for all nail shapes — so it’s okay if you haven’t done your cuticles or filed your nails in a while. If you do want to prep before you come, here’s a video to show you how. We also offer complimentary nail files and cuticle sticks so you can prep prior to your service but please arrive a few minutes early so you can prep and still start your appointment on time!

It’s best to arrive with clean, bare nails. But don’t worry if you forget — we have polish remover on hand for regular polish, but we cannot do gel removal today.

We do not paint a base coat as we have specifically selected polishes that don’t need it. We recently launched topcoat at several locations and will be rolling out to all of our robots in the coming weeks.  If your location does not yet offer topcoat, we strongly encourage you to apply your favorite top coat after your service to prolong the life of your MiNiCURE.

No. The robot is designed to paint on clean, bare, polish-free nails. Please do not come with base coat or another coat of polish on, it will confuse the robot and it will not paint well. If you recently had gel or acrylics, and there is some residue, the robot may have some challenges with painting perfectly.

Not today. We currently only use regular nail polishes but may add gel options in the future.

Our polishes are all free of Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde and Toluene, and a number of other harmful substances. We use an assortment of well known, off the shelf nail polish brands including OPI, Essie, Zoya, China Glaze, Salon Perfect as well as several of our own proprietary, 10 free formulas.

We offer complimentary Quick Dry Drops at the end of the service. That coupled with the fact that the robot does a very controlled coat of polish means your nails are touch dry in about 5 minutes.
