We are seeking a part-time, on-site Customer Support Specialist based in San Francisco, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with AI-powered robotics accessible to the public, elevating everyday experiences. The Customer Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in providing technical support, addressing customer concerns, maintaining optimal customer satisfaction, and analyzing and reporting customer service metrics.
The ideal candidate will rapidly acquire proficiency in operating our robots and related tooling to remotely troubleshoot live situations with customers. This includes real-time resolution of technical issues and guiding customers to overcome user challenges. Success in this role hinges on excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of our technology, and the ability to translate technical insights into customer education.
- Customer support, technical support, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining service metrics reports
- Identify customer needs and guide them in utilizing specific features
- Analyze and report product malfunctions through testing scenarios or replicating user experiences
- Ability to thrive under pressure and address complex customer concerns
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Experience in the beauty or retail industries is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields

- Previous experience working with AI technologies or robotics
- Familiarity with high level customer service standards and practices
- Knowledge of AI algorithms and machine learning concepts
- Exposure to Apple’s customer-centric approach and user experience design
- Strong problem-solving skills developed in a dynamic technical environment
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven culture
- Proven track record in a customer support role within an AI or technology-oriented company
- Experience as a Product or Customer Support Specialist for technical products
- Proficiency in using help desk software (Zendesk preferred) and remote support tools
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Adaptive communication style based on the audience
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot on the spot
